What If AI Helped You Think Instead of Replacing You?
Some posts stop you in your 'doomscrolling' effortlessly.
Why?
Because they have a good hook that punches you in the gut and makes you read more.
A hook is not:
☒ a summary
☒ a disclaimer
☒ a polite intro
☒ “Here’s a quick tip about…”
A hook is:
✓ a pattern disruptor
✓ a punch in the gut
✓ a moment of wait… what?
The job of a hook is to create enough intrigue for people to continue reading (or watching…)
Let’s learn how to create the perfect hook 👇🏽

WHATS A HOOK?
Your HOOK is typically your first line (try to keep it short that fits in 1 LINE)
Your first line should:
→ feel slightly incomplete
→ raise a question without asking one
→ make someone intrigued enough to keep reading
Good hooks are:
✦ vague
✦ intriguing
✦ emotionally charged
✦ sometimes a little triggering
Your hook’s job is to get people to your context.
Once they’re in it…
Next 2-3 lines should be your backup that adds context to your hook.
The follow-up lines should:
→ validate the pause they just made
→ confirm this is worth their attention
→ add context, not full answers
People should go “OH! I get it now!”
A STRUCTURE YOU CAN
Line 1: Create tension
Line 2: Address the tension
Line 3: Aim it directly at the reader
Example structure:
A bold or unsettling statement
A grounding line that says “you’re not crazy”
A subtle mirror back to their experience
Earn the read first.
BTW… Your profile has three make-or-break assets:
your banner, bio, and pinned post.
If you want a profile that feels relatable, cohesive, and unforgettable... grab this kit that walks you through achieving it step by step.

Your 3-Part Brand Kit: Banner, Bio & Pinned Post Master Guide
A complete breakdown of the 3 core elements that make or break your personal brand on X
Why Most Content Gets Scrolled Past
Because most people are scared to be ‘crazy’.
But hey… safe hooks:
→ blend in
→ sound like everyone else
→ sometimes even confuses the reader
If your hook could belong to anyone, it belongs to no one.
Personalize your hooks
Make them relatable

Ask Yourself This Before Posting
What usually stops you on someone’s content?
Is it:
→ relatability
→ controversy
→ clarity
→ confidence
→ curiosity
→ or someone saying something you wouldn’t say out loud?
That’s your answer.
Your audience is just you… slightly earlier. Think like them.
See you on the next one!
