A lot of people have subscriptions enabled on X but don’t know how to promote it without seeming needy.

So here you go… here’s 5 Things You Can Do To Gain More Subs on X:

Doesn't matter what
Try to post daily

Turn this setting on (watch vid)

It'll help with discoverability

This shows a preview of your post on people's feeds saying "subscribe to unlock"

→ auto CTA to sub!
→ also helps your reach on sub-only posts

Create a sub-only space from desktop (web)

Use a community you are an admin / mod in

Why?

Because when you start the space, everyone in the community gets a notification

→ Instant CTA to subscribe if they wanna enter the space

Every time someone new subs to you, add a post to that thread

Not only does that make them feel good about subbing, it also makes sure they see your offer

+ refreshes that post in the X algo so new people see it

Here's the one I use (you can see how i add to the thread on different days):

Give them a cute nickname (i call em SUBBIES 🧡)

→ Check in on their posts

→ Reply to your subs when they leave a comment

→ Shoot out a sweet wellness check DM once in a while

→ Let's them know you appreciate their support

Whether you do it on a post, comment or a DM, it's always a good idea to ask them if there's anything they're expecting from you.

And it's also just a nice gesture to let them know you're there for them 🧡
