How To Build Your Social Media Presence Through Replies

You might be thinking… “F*CK REPLY GUY. It’s too much work”

STOP 🛑 It’s not what you think.

“Reply guy” gets a bad rep because people misunderstand it

Most people think it means:

NOPE. Complete opposite actually.

Being a reply guy doesn't mean spamming replies to accounts with millions of followers

Being a reply guy means building genuine connections and friendships by leaving thoughtful replies to real people accounts. Accounts that are relative to your own interests and beliefs by sharing your true opinions about the post or topic at hand.

Here's a strategy you can adopt to become the perfect reply guy that allows you to build authentic friendships through sincere interactions.

Split your replies into 3 parts 👇🏽

You’re both at the stage of growing your accounts! Grow together.

Find cool accounts you share interests with, put them on a list (whether an X list or on Google Sheets or Notion) and interact with them daily!

Build friendships. Build relationships.

Be true to yourself and your opinions when you are leaving comments because that’s how you shine a light on your personality… & ultimately, that’s what attracts people to you — your personality 🧡

Lots of quality content creators on X with an active community (following) that consistently produce high quality content.

→ Connect with them in their comments
→ Learn from how they navigate thru X
→ Network and form relationships with them
→ Find other quality accounts by looking at who they reply to

THEN, here’s what you actually should do:
Don’t just reply to their posts, go into their comments section & interact with the people who left replies [ones that resonate with you or u find interesting]

This expands your visibility to a larger, more active audience + you gain impressions per reply > which can turn into profile clicks > followers.

🔹 If your replies aren't getting enough impressions or replies, find different accounts to reply to.
