Your Engagement Dead

But you keep repeating the same mistakes over & over without fixing anything

Why?

Lemme walk you through 5 simple things you could be doing stating right now that’ll improve the engagement you get within 2 WEEKS.

If your posts are getting ignored, it’s not the algorithm’s fault.

It’s the little things you’re not doing that could make the biggest difference.

Here’s some of the things that you’re doing wrong that’s compounding over time and destroying your reach further daily:

1. Your hooks don’t stop the scroll

Your first line has one job: make them stop scrolling.

If you can’t do that, nothing else matters.

No one has the time to click ā€œshow moreā€ out of kindness.

Instead:

→ Start with tension or contradiction.
→ Ask something unexpected (personal or polarizing)
→ Use bold statements, patterns, or intriguing story openers.

Your goal: get them to line 2.

2. You write at people, not to them.

You’re sharing thoughts, but not starting conversations.

If your posts sound like a DM that sparks a convo, people will respond (comment).

Fix it:
→ Use ā€œyouā€ more than ā€œIā€
→ Say something worth replying to
→ Make people feel like they’re part of your story

Example:

āŒ ā€œToday I learned about growth on X.ā€

āœ… ā€œAre you making this growth mistake on X too?ā€

Be inclusive. Share more than you preach.

Quick detour:

Speaking of teaching through sharing, my sponsors ā€œGo To Millionsā€ have been doing the same. Check em out here:

🚨 OKAY BACK TO THE MISTAKES THAT ARE RUINING YOUR X LIFE 🚨

3. You never leave your own corner

You post, close the app, and hope for magic.

But visibility isn’t passive. It’s relative.

Instead:

→ Reply on relevant posts before and after you post.
→ Make others feel seen.
→ Stay active where you want people to see you.

The algorithm remembers who shows up and rewards time on platform (both ways)

4. You’re not in the right rooms

You can’t grow if you’re only posting to your followers (who already like you).

Communities are your shortcut to new eyeballs and reaching people that don’t know you exist.

Instead:

→ Join 1–2 X Communities in your niche
→ Comment daily
→ Post something interesting and relevant daily
→ Add value first. Don’t self-promote.

It’s not about ā€œgetting seen.ā€

It’s about earning trust where attention already lives.

Here’s a post on how you can utilize X Communities and a list of some active ones:

5. You’re snoozing on X Spaces

Lurking isn’t enough.

Voice builds emotional connection faster than any high-quality, value driven text thread.

Instead:

→ Join Spaces that align with your niche.
→ Connect and interact with strong speakers, hosts & cohosts.
→ Request the mic and say one sharp thing.
→ Follow up in DMs after.

That’s how you build presence.

The fastest way to grow is by being heard — not just read.

Here are 2 FREE guides I put together on how to build the confidence to start speaking in or hosting your own spaces:

Engagement CHECKLIST You Can Run:

⤳ Is this written to someone or just about something?
⤳ Does the hook stop a scroll?
⤳ Did I warm up by commenting elsewhere?
⤳ Have I shown up in a Community today?
⤳ Did I raise my hand in a Space this week?

You don’t need new tricks. You need to keep improving things you already know.

Put things in motion. Show up where people are already looking.

Then watch what happens.

MY CHALLENGE TO YOU:

Do at least 2 of these things for 2 weeks.
Reply and let me know your analytics right now so I can keep you accountable.
We’ll circle back in 2 weeks to see how you did

Up for it? šŸ˜‰
