What if your Notes app was secretly your best content strategy?
You’re not lacking ideas.
You’re losing them.
Every idea you have today will be gone by tomorrow.
That tiny ugh, aha, wait that’s weird, why does this bother me moment
that’s the stuff people actually connect to.
You just never catch it.
Because you are too busy waiting for a perfect idea to form.
Instead, you should be saving those ‘sparks’ of ideas.
Let’s take a look at how 👇🏽

Over the next year, Roku predicts that 100% of the streaming audience will see ads. For growth marketers in 2026, CTV will remain an important “safe space” as AI creates widespread disruption in the search and social channels. Plus, easier access to self-serve CTV ad buying tools and targeting options will lead to a surge in locally-targeted streaming campaigns.
Read our guide to find out why growth marketers should make sure CTV is part of their 2026 media mix.
🚨 OKAY BACK TO TOPIC 🚨
Don’t use your Notes app to store ideas.
Start using it to capture reactions.
Ideas are polished.
Reactions are raw.
Raw and unfiltered always wins.
What Counts as a “Reaction”?
Not the entire post.
Think mini-notes.
Capture the ideas.
Fleeting thoughts
→ Something that annoyed you
→ A sentence that made you pause
→ A take you almost posted but didn’t
→ A pattern you noticed in people
→ A thought you’d text a friend but won’t post (yet)
That’s it.
STEPS
Open your Notes app.
Title it:
Things That Made Me React Today
Don’t overcomplicate it. Just treat it as a list of sh*t you jot down!
No need to clean it up or turn it into content yet.
→ You just dump.
Messy. Emotional. Half-done.
If it feels a little messy, you’re doing it right.
WHY THIS WORKS
Most people sit down and ask:
→ What should I write about?
You’ll be opening your phone and see:
→ What’s worth posting?
That’s the difference.
Your future posts will:
✓ sound relative
✓ feel specific
✓ stop sounding like recycled advice
Because they came from real moments (not brainstorms)

HOW TO TURN IT INTO CONTENT
Once a day—or once a week if you’re lazy (no judgment):
→ Open the note
→ Pick one line that still hits
→ Turn it into:
↳ a one-liner
↳ a short post
↳ a reply
↳ a newsletter seed
No pressure to make it perfect. Reaction first. Shape later.
SEEE YOU ON THE NEXT ONE
