It’s a design game.
You’re not writing essays.

☑ THE BORING VERSION (aka Homework Vibes)
“Just had coffee. Thinking about how weirdly addicted I’ve become to this one ritual and how it makes me feel like I’m back in my old apartment writing at 3am, and how that version of me would’ve been proud to see where I am now.”
…. Did you even read that?
Doubt it 😛
→ Looks like a blob of text
→ No scannability. You can’t skim
→ No emotion triggers to reply
Guess what you (or anyone) would do?? → Scroll.
✓ THE DOPE VERSION (aka Scroll-Stopping)
DID YOU READ THAT?
🟢 I bet… YOU DID 🟢
LET’S BREAK DOWN WHY
→ Intriguing first 1-2 lines
→ broken down, short phrases
→ bullet points that guide your eyes
→ length of lines flow naturally like a staircase (you see it now right?)
→ a photo for emotional resonance
Bonus points for cuteness… and YES, YOU ARE CUTE TOO! 🧡
FORMATTING CHEAT CODES ⤵
Here’s how to stop writing like you’re composing an essay for school and start formatting like a creator:
Use bold & line breaks
One idea per line. Always.
Emphasize key lines. Make them pop.
Add directional movement
Symbols like → ↳ ✦ ❥ ➤ make your posts flow
They guide the eye and subconsciously give rhythm
Think in chunks
Break paragraphs into scannable bits
Use contrast to help ideas land harder
No big blocks
Big text blocks = guaranteed bounce
Think scroll-ability, not readability
Attach relevant media
If nothing else, people stop to look at your photo / vid.
Even if they don’t read, they could have something to say about it.
