But is your profile branding doing a good job representing you?
Let's dive into how the 3 main parts of your profile - banner, bio, pinned post - can cohesively work to show off who you are and what you do.
If these aren’t aligned, your profile isn't fully optimized to convert followers.

🧱 PART 1: BANNER → Your Brand Billboard
People land on your profile and the banner smacks them first. Don’t make them stare at dead space.
WHAT IT'S FOR:
• Visual vibe of your brand
• Instant emotional cue (trust? chaos? cozy?)
• Space to show what your bio can’t say
HOW TO USE IT:
⤷ Pick one core purpose: Quote, CTA, Offer, or Emotional Vibe
⤷ Use consistent brand colors (2–3 max)
⤷ Include:
▪️ A bold quote
▪️ Your offer (what you do + who for)
▪️ CTA (like “Subscribe ↓”)
▪️ Symbol that represents you (🧡 lighthouse, dragon, etc.)
🖼 If your PFP shows your face → keep banner clean, abstract If your PFP is a logo → use banner to show your face/story
✍️ Tools: Canva, Figma, Grok/Midjourney + overlay
🎨 Resolution: 1500x500px — keep it clean

🧩 PART 2: BIO → Your Profile’s Elevator Pitch
Your bio should convert, not confuse people.
WHY IT MATTERS:
• Most people don’t even scroll past your bio
• If it sucks, your content won’t get a chance to be seen
WHAT TO INCLUDE:
Hook → Who you are in 1 sentence
Proof → Results, achievements, numbers
CTA → Link to something that matters (newsletter, DMs, site)
FORMATTING TIPS:
• Use separators: | • ↴ for clean spacing
• Keep emojis to 1–2 max
• Avoid hashtags, niche lingo, or vague nonsense
• Swap personal touch line every 1–2 months
• Use “Location” as an extra CTA trick because it points to link (Ex: “Subscribe →”)
✅ Example:
“Drink coffee from an IV • Help creators grow from 0 → 10k on X | Built $10k/mo side hustle | Subscribe if I taught you something today 🧡”

📌 PART 3: PINNED POST → Your Landing Page
Stop pinning random quotes or ancient viral threads. This is your intro to strangers.
WHY IT'S CRITICAL:
• First post people see
• Shows up on suggested feeds
• Converts strangers into followers
WHAT TO TYPICALLY INCLUDE:
→ Who you are
→ What you do
→ Why you’re here
→ Add personality
→ Optional: CTA (sub, DM, reply, etc.)
→ Photo or short video
✅ Then drop a CTA in the comments if you want to funnel traffic.
🌀 Switch it up every few months to re-intro yourself and freshen up your profile + it shows up on people's for you under "pinned by people you follow".
